Poltergeist IV: "A friend of mine who works as a **Edited Out** for MGM/United Artist not only confirmed that Pierce would be back for Bond 20 but he also told me that hush hush plans are underway to revive the POLTERGEIST movie franchise. Despite the death of star Heather O' Rourke in 1988. The production which is set to start mid 2001 will find a new family in peril from malevolent spirits. The first draft features the character Steve Freeling returning so maybe Craig T. Nelson will reprise his role. Very early stuff here, the family returns to a newly rebuilt Cuesta Verde and the new child posesses telekinetic abilities, but as I'm a fan of the POLTERGEIST movies, this was red hot. More on this as I get it."

reader of DavisDVD has revealed that in August 26th MGM will be releasing Poltergeist II:The Other Side and Poltergeist III as a double feature DVD with a MSRP of $14.95. The only known extras are going to be the trailers to both films.
