The first draft script was slightly different from the final draft. The character Tak was later renamed Marty and the first draft has a different closing scene. It also has scenes that didn't make it to the final draft.

Poltergeist II:The Other Side

I just got my eager hands on this script. It doesn't say which version it is but it is very different from the final movie. Dr. Lesh is in it, but she didn't meet the Grim Reaper like she did in the novel. Tangina's not even in the script and there's no mention of Dana Freeling. There is a new character, Zack, the neighborhood teen and in this script, Henry Kane's name is Reverend James T. Boatwright!
